OSHKOSH – After five years on South Main Street, Tasty Thai is permanently closing its doors.

Owners Mike and Ann Ehaney announced in a Facebook post Monday evening that the restaurant, 1027 S. Main St., will serve its last meals Saturday. They decided to close the restaurant because their lease is up.

“Thank you so much everyone! We really appreciate your business over the years! We will miss you,” the restaurant posted on Facebook.

Coranvirus was also a factor as its dining area hasn’t reopened since March, Mike Ehaney said.

“We just appreciate everyone’s support,” he said.

However, they are going to open a food truck, Ehaney said. The food truck is still in the early stages and won’t be up and running for another year but will feature Thai dishes.

Tasty Thai’s last day open will be sat 9-26-20. Thank you so much everyone! We really appreciate your business over the years! We will miss you. *** (watch for our food truck coming soon!!!)
